Investing in Dreams
ISoroptimist International of River Valley (SIRV) is based in Grants Pass, Oregon. We are a group of multi-generational women who meet weekly to fund raise, develop community service programs, provide educational scholarships and build relationships within the community. We are women helping women.
​
SIRV was established in March 2000 and is made up of 20+ members. The Soroptimist name loosely translates, from Latin, to mean “Best for Women”. We are one of five clubs within the Southern Oregon region; a modest but impactful part of Soroptimists’ presence in over 120 countries across the world with nearly 100,000 members worldwide.

WHAT WE DO
Our years of experience working with women and girls has taught us that education is the key to unlocking economic empowerment of the world’s women and girls. When women and girls are educated, they have opportunity, choice and power to make healthy decisions for themselves and their families.
COME AND MEET US!
